We said we had a top eachway tip for the Caulfield Cup...and we delivered. Our One To Bet Special for last Saturday (Oct 17) was VIEWED $13.40, winner of the Caulfield Cup. It was the only horse we tipped in the race. Form analyst Jon Hudson was so confident he made Viewed his one-bet special for the day. He also landed 2 winners from his 3 Ultimate Bet selections. As if that wasn't enough, Jon tipped the quadrella for Saturday Punter followers..His 48 unit combination pulled in a $1213 dividend!

Who do we fancy in the Caulfield Cup on Saturday? We have chosen a horse that's at double-figure odds and he's listed as our One To Bet special. Form analyst Jon Hudson reckons this stayer has a grand chance of taking out the big race. Last week our One To Bet tip was a winner and we're keen to strike again.

Last weekend we said we had a likely top tip for Brisbane, for the second week in a row, and that's what we delivered with TARRAYOUYKAN $4.40/$1.70 at Doomben. Our information is vonfident he can delivered a third big winner for us this weekend (Oct 10). It'll be in the Final Look section.

Good pickups last Saturday (Sep 26) from our Daily Double and Final Look sections. We hauled in the DD at Doomben with Zahas Pride and Joint Chiefs ($23.10) and also picked up the Final Look bet with Joint Chiefs $4.30/$2.00. We are expecting to receive another strong late-mail tip for Doomben on Saturday (Oct 3). Our informant is very keen.

We're heading into a big day's racing on Saturday (Sep 26) with major-race cards at Randwick and the Victorian country track Mornington. We'll be handing out Place Parlays for both meetings, as well as suggested Daily Doubles for both. We're also taking a fresh look at the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups (on the Ultimate Bet page).

Another 3 winners from 3 selections for our Ultimate Bet section on Saturday (Sep 12), making it six winners in a row for Jon Hudson! His winners on Saturday were EAGLE FALLS, WHOBEGOTYOU and HOT DANISH. More profits rolled in for Saturday Punter followers when our Trifecta Attack landed the cash in its selected race, the Stocks Stakes at Moonee Valley. The recommended bet was ZARITA and CATS WHISKER for 1st and 2nd and the FIELD for 3rd, a $24 bet. The strategy worked with a 50/1 chance filling the 3rd slot, and the dividend was $353.30 (Unitab) and $337.50 (NSW TAB).

Sensational results for Saturday Punters members on Saturday (September 5). Our three Ultimate bets were all winners and our One To Score special also won. The Ultimate Bet tips were CATS WHISKER $3.30, SPEED GIFTED $2.90 and MELITO $2.60. The One To Score tip was O'LONHRO $2.10. Our 4-horse Place Parlay went even better with all 4 selections winning...SERENIMISSIMA $1.95, PATRONYME $3.90, O'LONHRO $2.10 and MELITO $2.60. And to finish off the day, our Daily Double came up with O'LONHRO and RANGIRANGDOO, paying 97.00 (for $10).

A nice strike by our Trifecta Attack bet on Saturday with Denman and Trusting running 1st/2nd in the Golden Rose. Our suggested bet for $26 was to take the Field for 3rd. The return was more than $180. The Trifecta Attack is a key section of the Saturday Punter service, along with our Final Look section which last Saturday scored with MADAME PEDRILLE $2.90.

Our Profitmakers section was in form last Saturday (Aug 22) with 2 winners and 2 placegetters from 4 selections. The winners were CARRARA $2.00 and CORONATION DIVA $4.00. We just failed to nabe the selected quadrella, landing 3 of the 4 legs at the Moonee Valley meeting. We have a 36 unit combination for Caulfield on Saturday (Aug 29).

A big day for Saturday Punter followers on Aug 15...Our $54 quadrella combination came up trumps at Rosehill and paid $228.90. Our Ultimate Bet selection DENMAN $3.50 won, and it was also the sole selection for the day for the Winners To Follow section. Another big pickup came via our Place Parlay which landed HEADWAY 2nd $1.60, TYPHOON TRACY 3rd $1.20, ANNESONG 2nd $2.60 and MISS MAREN 1st $5.30/$2.30. The place all-up returned $114.80 for $10.

We decided against trying for the quadrellas because the day's cards seemed simply too tough to have a meaningful crack within our $100 outlay limit. But we will be having a lash this Saturday, especially on the Moonee Valley card. Saturday punter form analyst Jon Hudson has news on a horse who should come in with a winning chance at very good odds.

Our Final Look and Winners To Follow sections struck on Saturday (July 11). Final Look's one-bet special was VOICE COMMANDER $4.50 in the big Weetwood sprint at Toowoomba. WTF nabbed the well-fancied DENMAN $1.70 for its one bet for the day. Our Ultimate Bet section also claimed Denman. Our Place Parlay foursome turned up three placegetters.

Saturday Punter will be having a crack at two Quadrellas this week...Our limit for the outlay is $100 each time but, of course, you can bet less than this by using the flexibet facility which allows you to take a percentage of the total outlay. You may like to take our $100's worth of combinations but only want to spend $25. You can do this and you'll have a 25% share of any dividend. Our quadrella bets, on the Sydney and Melbourne meetings, are all part of the Saturday Punter weekly service.

Winners were hard to find on Saturday, and Ultimate Bet was left to battle home with STARKRON 1st $2.20 and STONEBLACK 2nd $5.50 at Flemington. Our Daily Doubles suggestions failed to pay off but they did land winners GRAN SASSO $4.10 and KOICHI $4.80. Our first foray into the quadrellas was soon torpedoed but we're confident of hitting big very soon.

Something new for the Saturday Punter members from this week...Our form analysts Jon Hudson and Philip Roy will be mapping out likely quadrella combinations for the Sydney and/or Melbourne meetings. We'll be restricting the outays on each quadrella to around $100 but, of course, you can use flexi-bet to take a percentage of the bet. Our Ultimate Bet section turned up only one winner from its three selections on Saturday...but it was the #1 big-race winner of the day at Eagle Farm, BLACK PIRANHA $3.70 in the Grp 1 Stradbroke Hdcp. Saturday Punter's Jon Hudson told members:

Our One To Score bet was almost a winner...READY TO LIFT 2nd $6.50 in the Brisbane Cup. She was right in the battle all the way to line and just went under to a driving finish by the NZer Court Ruler.

Two good strikes for our Ultimate Bet section on Saturday with SCENIC SHOT $3.30 winning at Eagle Farm and the NZer GEEZA 2nd $9.90/$3.30 (narrowly beaten!). Final Look chipped in with the late mail tip GRAN SASSO 1st $4.20. Here's what Jon Hudson told our subscribers about Scenic Shot:

If his last start Grp 1 Doomben Cup win at 2020m is any guide, them this talented WA stayer has this Grp 2 2200m race at his mercy. He is a confirmed WFA performer, he's a winner at track and distance, he's got the #1 local rider aboard (Shane Scriven), and he handles rain-affected ground. There are enough factors on the positive side to say he can win.

Our One To Score was right on target on Saturday...Chief form analyst Jon Hudson tipped APACHE CAT 1st $3.50 as the bet of the day in the Doomben 10,000 and that's the way it turned out. Our Final Look section hit top form, too, scoring with NEWS ALERT 1st $4.50 and CHOISTAR 2nd $4.75. This is what Jon told Saturday Punter members about Apache Cat:

We should always keep in mind that the Doomben 10,000 is a weight-for-age race so the best form to use is, I suggest, WFA form, and when it comes to that, then the best WFA performer in the race is Apache Cat. He's right on the verge of peaking in his campaign following his close 3rd in the BTC Cup 1200m on May 9. He will relish the heavy conditions and the 1350m trip. He simply has to be the one to beat from a good draw and with Damien Oliver aboard.
